Elizabeth Ewigleben is from Lebanon, IN and is the daughter of David and Ruth Ewigleben. She has studied voice since 9th grade with Tim Grino. She is studying Music Education at Anderson University and has been taking voice from Professor Mary Kathryn Brewer for 4 years there. She was involved at Anderson with the Anderson University Wind Ensemble (playing flute/piccolo) and in the Anderson University Chorale. While participating with the Anderson University Chorale, she had the opportunity to tour from New York City to the Midwest, and to Scandinavian countries such as Norway, Estonia, and Sweden (to name a few). Elizabeth has participated in musicals and shows since 8th grade, making her debut as a munchkin in the Wizard of Oz. She was also on stage participating in the operas and musicals at Anderson, most recently in the opera Regina in the role of Birdie. During the summer, she loves to play with the Lafayette Citizens Band alongside her mother, Ruth Ewigleben. She is very excited and grateful to have this opportunity to sing with the Lafayette Symphony, which she grew up watching. She thanks all of her friends, family, and teachers for helping her and believing in her. She plans to study vocal performance in graduate school in the fall.
