The LSO is holding auditions on Sunday, August 20 (12 pm – 6 pm) for Principal 2nd Violin and Section Cello, Violin, and Viola, and on Monday, August 21 (6 pm – 8 pm) for a Section Percussionist. Audition location is at Long Center for the Performing Arts, 111 N. 6th St, Lafayette, IN. Pay for selected orchestra musicians is per service, plus mileage. See below for excerpt information and applications. Please send application, resumé/CV, and $25 deposit check (fully refundable at time of audition) to PO Box 52, Lafayette, IN 47902, or via email to personnel@lafayettesymphony.org. The Symphony employs full and part time staff, but relies on hundreds of volunteers each year to make our programs a reality. Whether you’re still in school, work the second shift or are retired from the 9 to 5, we can find the perfect spot for you when you volunteer at the Lafayette Symphony Orchestra.
